About The Position
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Leasing and Marketing Director to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all leasing activities of our property, marketing for the property, social media postings, planning and hosting resident events for the community, and maintaining positive resident relations. You will work closely with the property management team to develop and implement effective leasing strategies and drive the success of our community. As the Leasing and Marketing Director, you will interview prospective residents and record information to ascertain their needs and qualifications. You will accompany prospects to model and vacant apartments, discussing the size and layout of rooms, available amenities, and terms of lease. Ensuring consistent follow-up with prospects is crucial, as is processing applications for approval in compliance with policies and procedures. You will also be responsible for creating marketing materials, presenting to clients, and communicating with internal teams. In addition to these responsibilities, you will mentor Leasing Consultants, schedule move-ins, and complete all lease paperwork with prospects. It is essential to walk all move-ins prior to the move-in date to ensure readiness and follow up with new residents after they move in. You will inspect the condition of the premises periodically and arrange for necessary maintenance. Planning and coordinating resident events will also be part of your duties, along with the courteous and efficient handling of resident requests and complaints. Your role will encompass managing all marketing duties, including preparation of market surveys, outreach marketing, and social media postings. A creative mindset and the ability to think outside the box are essential for developing innovative marketing strategies and campaigns to promote our products or services. Effective time management skills are necessary to assist with sending out all resident notices and to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently. Weekend work will be required, and adherence to all company policies, including safety and Fair Housing, is mandatory. Other job duties may be assigned as needed.
