About The Position

Join Gorman & Company and lead the lease-up of Ruby Vista, a brand-new 98-unit affordable housing community that opened earlier this year! We're looking for a motivated and experienced Community Manager to take the lead in operations, leasing, and resident engagement - helping create a welcoming community from the ground up. As the Community Manager, you'll oversee all aspects of the property, from leasing and marketing to financial performance, compliance, and team leadership. This is a high-impact role for someone who's organized, people-oriented, and ready to make a difference in residents' lives while driving the success of a new development.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of property management, leasing, or sales experience (LIHTC experience preferred).
  • Strong financial management, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Leadership experience and ability to motivate a team.
  • Customer-service mindset and passion for community impact.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead lease-up and ongoing property operations, ensuring a smooth and successful opening.
  • Manage leasing efforts - connect with prospects, showcase Ruby Vista, and secure new residents.
  • Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, and rent collection with attention to detail.
  • Supervise and develop on-site staff to deliver excellent resident service.
  • Maintain compliance with LIHTC program requirements and Fair Housing regulations.
  • Partner with maintenance to uphold strong standards for safety, quality, and curb appeal.
  • Build relationships and foster a positive community atmosphere for residents and team members alike.
