The position is viewed as a Lease Operator in training or entry level Lease Operator. The individual will work under general supervision of a supervisor or Lease Operator Lead, monitoring, maintaining, and reporting the operation of wells and sites on an assigned route. Most problems will require consultation with a supervisor to resolve. The role includes making routine checks on all well sites according to schedule, monitoring production equipment, performing light maintenance, inspecting lease sites, managing daily fluid production, gathering data, recognizing production-related issues, communicating with the production foreman, optimizing production, participating in an on-call rotation, addressing spills and hazards, maintaining the company vehicle, and responding to after-hours emergencies.
