About The Position

Overview The Field Operator III is responsible for safely operating wells and production equipment while supporting daily operational goals. This role focuses on equipment reliability, production optimization, safety compliance, and coordination with maintenance and well intervention teams. Responsibilities Operate wells and production equipment in accordance with safety and operating procedures Perform daily operational tasks including housekeeping, inspections, and surveillance Participate in toolbox talks and safety meetings Monitor equipment performance and identify optimization or corrective actions Perform basic maintenance activities as an Equipment Care Technician Report alarms, emergencies, and abnormal operating conditions Maintain accurate shift handover communication and operational logs Coordinate with maintenance teams on corrective, predictive, and preventive work Collect product samples and perform field laboratory testing Support emergency response activities and incident reporting Communicate production issues, well conditions, and diagnostics clearly to supervisors Prepare wells and surface equipment prior to well intervention activities Assist Wellwork operations as needed during interventions Qualifications Previous experience as a Lease Operator, Production Operator, Field Operator, Well Operator, or Plant/Production Tech (upstream) required. Strong verbal and written communication skills Extensive experience in: Pipeline operations, operations management tools and procedures, and emergency preparedness and response. High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. Must be able to meet all conditional job offer requirements including background, drug test, MVR, agility and fit for duty. Physical Requirements - Must be able to lift 40 lbs., climb ladders and stairs. Walking, bending stopping is required. Must be able to wear personal protective equipment. Must be able to respond to visual and audible alarms.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Lease Operator, Production Operator, Field Operator, Well Operator, or Plant/Production Tech (upstream) required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Extensive experience in: Pipeline operations, operations management tools and procedures, and emergency preparedness and response.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
