About The Position

Diversified Gas & Oil Corporation (DGOC) is seeking a Lease Operator in training or entry level Lease Operator. This position works under the general supervision of a supervisor or Lease Operator Lead and is responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and reporting the operation of wells and sites on an assigned route. The role requires routine checks on well sites, monitoring production equipment, performing light maintenance, and ensuring lease sites are clean and free of debris. The operator will manage daily fluid production, gather data, and communicate regularly with the production foreman. Participation in an on-call rotation schedule, which includes nights and weekends, is also required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of and commitment to safety procedures and regulations.
• Valid driver license.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Ability to remain calm during emergencies and respond appropriately.
• Ability to wear and properly utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Ability to move or traverse from one location on the job site to another.
• Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods.
• Ability to detect, determine, perceive, identify, recognize, judge, observe, inspect, estimate, and assess driving operations effectively.
• Ability to operate a 4X4 vehicle.
• Must be able to repetitively move or position feet, shoulders, arms, wrists, and back.
• Must be able to work atop elevated surfaces and traverse various heights.
• Lifts or carries 116 lbs. or more.
• Frequently pushes and pulls with a maximum force of 150 ft./lbs.
• Constantly works in outdoor weather conditions and is exposed to varying environmental conditions.

Responsibilities

• Make routine checks on all well sites according to schedule.
• Monitor production equipment including compressors, pumpjacks, plunger lift, dehydrators, meters, separators, and safety devices.
• Perform light maintenance on equipment as necessary.
• Inspect lease sites to ensure they are clean and free of debris and overgrown vegetation.
• Manage daily fluid production; gauge and record oil and water tank levels.
• Gather daily, monthly and quarterly data and submit all required reports and tickets in a timely manner.
• Recognize production related issues and work with foreman and other personnel to troubleshoot and resolve.
• Communicate regularly with production foreman on daily plans and issues.
• Participate in periodic well reviews and safety meetings.
• Work to optimize productions in a safe, cost-effective manner.
• Participate in on-call rotation schedule which includes some nights and weekends.
• Check for and address spills, fluid leaks, and trip hazards.
• Ensure company provided vehicle is properly maintained.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies when necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.
