Lease Operator I – Job Description Duties & Responsibilities - Monitor and manage production in assigned area to maximize production and control lease operating expenses - Apply basic knowledge of Production Operations and all associated equipment - Maintain all company provided tools and equipment (cell phone, vehicle, computer, etc.) - Perform routine maintenance of production equipment, including separation and measurement equipment - Submit work requests as per the workflow process - Perform tasks that may be assigned which will contribute to the achievement of Scout's strategic objectives - Understand alarm management to minimize DT; maintain awareness of DT effects on volumes; identify DT issues such as RPs, TLs, PCs, etc., and report promptly -- targeting <24-hour notification - Monitor lease costs in daily activities to achieve 0% tool and equipment loss - Perform lease maintenance as needed to eliminate contract labor - Utilize "buddy system" as needed to reduce OT effect - Perform other various tasks as assigned by the Foreman Skills & Specifications - Ability to work with a diverse team to achieve production and cost targets - Solid written and oral communication skills - Comfortable working in a fast-paced high-pressure production environment - Strong communication & people skills - Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office, SCADA, eVIN, etc.), or the ability to learn - Maintain good housekeeping in all areas of responsibility - Has integrity, good communication skills, and a positive attitude - Ability to work safely and adhere to all company guidelines, policies, and procedures - Capable and willing to work overtime as required and participate in an on-call rotation - Knowledgeable in operating and maintaining equipment within oil and gas facilities
