Learning Technologies Manager

About the position

Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Learning Technologies Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for instructional technology and will be responsible for coordinating, planning, and leading our instructional technology related objectives.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain AV technologies and periodically test the operation of all built-in AV systems.
• Schedule requests for instructional technology services and deliver, set up, and retrieve instructional technology equipment requested by the client.
• Provide training to faculty, staff, and students in the application and use of instructional technology equipment and educational materials.
• Secure equipment and materials and perform maintenance and troubleshooting of instructional technology control systems.
• Provide over-the-counter and telephone customer service, perform preventative maintenance on equipment, and repair minor equipment problems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in instructional technology or a related field plus three years of experience in the management, operation, and maintenance of audiovisual/production/instructional technology equipment.
• Expertise with implementing, configuring, and testing solutions.
• 3+ years of audio/visual or IT management experience.
• Strong creative and analytical thinking skills.
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Technology Specialist Certification (CTS) preferred.
