Applicants beyond fifty (50) miles may still be considered.Job SummaryThe Learning System Administrator operates, analyzes and evaluates existing University computerized and manual learning systems. Responsible to improve effectiveness and efficiency in using the learning systems; researches and develops techniques for converting manual operations to a computerized system; and researches areas within the University operations where problems in methods, practices and procedures exist in order to recommend and develop more efficient manual or computerized systems. Partners with other areas in designing and delivering learning improvement solutions.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three to five years business experience including experience in a resource or project management capacity. The same time-on-job requirement is preferred for internal candidates.
  • Proficiency in MS Office products; Sharepoint and LMS.
  • Assertive conflict-resolution and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated scheduling and organizational skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • PC Literacy
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Power BI, Quickbase, and/or other reporting dashboards
  • Cornerstone On Demand LMS experience 3-5 years

Responsibilities

  • System Management:
  • Executes on a plan; schedules and administers learning and development system activities in concert with other stakeholders, using company approved tools.
  • Act as point of contact for system usage and conflict resolution.
  • Analyzes and evaluates existing systems and procedures; recommending methods of improvement.
  • Completes quality control audits and implements any corrective action.
  • Communicates and supports resolution of any system issues; notifies necessary personnel when system fails are identified.
  • Accountable for accuracy of all learning system data entry activities.
  • Trains other users as required
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Identifies any continuous improvement opportunities in learning systems
  • Executes any continuous improvement plans
  • Communicates issues that affect other groups within the University so a comprehensive change plan can be developed.
  • Organizational Success:
  • Alert University leadership of any system issues that affect learners and internal staff, providing alternative solutions for remedy.
  • Provide data and information to other groups as necessary.
  • Participates in weekly team meetings
  • Assist department head with monitoring and controlling of departmental expenses.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
