Works under limited supervision, with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required.

Responsibilities

Assists coaches, student-athletes, and recruits with university requirements and individual program requirements, including applicability of transfer credits, in a timely and professional manner.
Monitors progress toward degree requirements and continuing eligibility for assigned student-athletes.
Assists with submitting NCAA waivers and appeals.
Organizes study hall for all student-athletes and creates daily study hall reports and weekly progress reports for the assigned coaching staff.
Coordinates and monitors priority registration for student-athletes.
Assists with academic planning and enrollment for summer school fifth year.
Maintains a viable working relationship with athletic administrators, coaches, faculty, university support staff, and parents by contacting and interacting frequently with academic advisors and student service departments to access the academic progress/status of the student-athletes.
Participates in continued education, professional development, and training, including active participation in NCAA-sponsored seminars, conference meetings, applicable conventions and academic services education.
