As a Learning Product Innovation Designer, you will blend research, human-centered design, and rapid prototyping to create impactful learning experiences aligned with strategic goals and market needs. You will work at the intersection of education, technology, and innovation—transforming insights into actionable, high-impact products that empower educators and learners alike. With a strong focus on experimentation and measurable outcomes, this position requires both creative thinking and strategic execution. Collaboration across teams and engagement with stakeholders will be central to driving successful innovation cycles. Approximately 25% monthly travel is required to support research, testing, and stakeholder engagement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, entrepreneurship, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong background in K-12 education, instructional design, and educational technology.
  • Demonstrated experience leveraging AI tools and applying emerging AI trends within educational contexts.
  • Proven ability to apply human-centered design principles and innovation methodologies.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in dynamic environments.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management and professional influencing abilities.
  • High level of accountability, adaptability, and sound judgment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and development initiatives, including empathy interviews, prototype testing, and market exploration to inform product innovation.
  • Identify market opportunities and challenges, define core problems, and design forward-thinking educational solutions aligned with organizational strategy.
  • Develop, prototype, iterate, and validate scalable learning products and resources that support diverse pedagogical models.
  • Create adaptable tools and materials that enable personalized learning while maintaining operational scalability.
  • Plan and align product strategies with both user needs and broader business objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to generate ideas, gather feedback, and refine proofs of concept.
  • Prepare proposals and present validated concepts to senior leadership for strategic consideration.
  • Manage timelines and oversee key innovation phases including feasibility studies, prototyping, testing, and implementation planning.
  • Conduct cost-benefit analyses and risk assessments to evaluate return on investment and long-term impact.
  • Track key performance metrics and report on product innovation progress.
