About The Position

We are seeking a Learning Partner/Trainer - Early Childhood Mental Health to join our team. Salary Range: $50,000 - $54,000 This role is responsible for the planning, design and implementation of training and coaching for staff and parents at five Early Childhood Learning Centers. In collaboration with the Collaborative Learning Team, this position will ensure that staff and parents have the knowledge and skills to support children’s mental health.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree in field related to Social Work, Healthcare, Education, Mental/Behavioral Health, or Early Childhood, required.
  • At least 21 years of age and pass background check, physical, and drug screening.
  • A valid driver’s license in the state you reside in, proof of current vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree, preferred.
  • Fluent in Spanish, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that caregivers, team members, resource parents and community partners have opportunities to master the skills required to support the mental health of children, including evidence-based models.
  • Participate in training needs assessments and planning process by identifying training needs, assisting in the creation of an annual training plan, designing, scheduling, and facilitating learning opportunities to meet those needs.
  • Learning opportunities may include classroom or virtual training, online courses, the creation of learning tools, and individual and group coaching.
  • Research and gather source material through extensive interactions with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
  • Create, update and maintain applicable curricula, including classroom, virtual, and elearning.
  • Create a safe and supportive learning environment and promote a culture that values learning.
  • Create course assessments for the training sessions, which will follow proper instructional design methods and test understanding by asking learners to interpret facts, evaluate situations, explain cause and effect, make inferences, and predict results.
