About the position

The Workday Learning Administrator at Anoka County is responsible for executing the learning strategy and overseeing the Workday Learning catalog, which includes various training formats. This role involves monitoring training completion data, troubleshooting issues, and providing expert-level support for Workday Learning. Additionally, the position includes responsibilities as a Senior Human Resources Business Partner, focusing on HR strategies and employee relations.

Responsibilities

  • Execute the learning strategy and oversee the Workday Learning catalog of courses.
  • Administer campaigns, including identifying assignment requirements and frequency of retraining.
  • Monitor training completion data and generate reports to ensure data accuracy.
  • Troubleshoot Workday Learning concerns regarding training completion and campaign management.
  • Provide expert-level strategic counsel and administration of Workday Learning.
  • Create assignments in Workday Learning with an understanding of retraining requirements and due dates.
  • Maintain the library of courses within Workday Learning, including uploading and deactivating course content.
  • Generate training reports to identify incomplete assignments and work with managers to achieve high training completion rates.
  • Provide technical assistance regarding Workday Learning to end users with exceptional customer service.
  • Develop how-to guides for end users to utilize Workday Learning successfully.
  • Oversee compensation-related responsibilities, including job classification and salary surveys.
  • Conduct high-level investigations and advise management on employee issues and conflicts.
  • Prepare negotiation strategies for collective bargaining and advise on corrective actions.
  • Serve as a liaison for various stakeholders including labor counsel and management.
  • Contribute to the development of county goals, performance management, and policies.
  • Define and execute HR strategies to accomplish county objectives.
  • Advise on succession planning and career progression opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of human resources experience.
  • In lieu of the required education, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
