About The Position

The position is for a Learning Disabilities Teacher/Consultant within the Child Study Team for the 2025-2026 school year. The role is district-wide and is set to start in October 2025. The teacher will be responsible for identifying and evaluating students with disabilities, developing and monitoring Individualized Education Programs (I.E.P.s) for classified students, and providing case management in accordance with New Jersey regulations. Additionally, the teacher will provide consultation and support to the teaching staff.

Requirements

• New Jersey Certification as Learning Disability Teacher/Consultant

Responsibilities

• Participate as a member of the Child Study Team to identify and evaluate students with disabilities.
• Develop and monitor I.E.P.s for classified students.
• Provide case management following the rules and regulations of N.J.A.C. Title 6A, Chapter 14-Special Education.
• Provide consultation and support to teaching staff.
