About The Position

Responsible for serving the training needs of the Credit Union front line service area. Facilitates to Tellers, MSRs, and Contact Center teams via a blended learning approach including instructor-led training and on-site mentoring. Supports all internal training with an emphasis on new hire orientation, branch operations, and experience training. Implements existing policies, procedures, and systems involving service operations and Member Services functions

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • A thorough knowledge of Teller, Member Service Representative (MSR), and Contact Center operations and procedures.
  • Basic understanding of Credit Union operations, including opening and closing accounts, loans, IRA, and certificate procedures.
  • Understanding of Credit Union philosophy.
  • Knowledge of training systems and resources.
  • One year to three years of similar or related experience.
  • Previous experience as a Teller/MSR at a full-service financial institution.
  • Self-Motivated and multi-task oriented.
  • Has the ability to work within a team atmosphere as well as individually.
  • Strong organizational skills and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to develop eLearning courses using systems such as Articulate.
  • Ability to use related computer applications.

Nice To Haves

  • Training certification or equivalent preferred.
  • Additional related coursework preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees assigned training programs and projects while ensuring content is relevant, current, and meets training needs.
  • Responsible for on-going refinement of curricula, design, and facilitation procedures to improve training experience quality.
  • Develops teaching aids such as training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials, and reference works.
  • Ensures all training materials, including procedures, manuals, eLearning courses, etc. are current and up to date.
  • Ensures that Credit Union personnel are well trained and effective in their respective positions.
  • Assists in ensuring that employee orientation, on-the-job training programs, and in-service activities are effective and appropriate.
  • Assist in coordinating, scheduling, and directing training activities.
