The Learning & Development (L&D) Manager will lead the learning and development strategy, focusing on innovative and results-driven solutions for a growing workforce. This role is essential in equipping employees with the necessary skills and knowledge to achieve performance excellence, requiring strong program management experience for a geographically dispersed team.

  • Design and implement a comprehensive learning strategy that supports organizational growth and aligns with PlayCore's mission.
  • Partner with organizational leaders to identify development needs and define programs for employee growth.
  • Develop learning experiences that promote equity, inclusion, and belonging.
  • Assess the effectiveness of training tools and programs using key metrics.
  • Optimize the training budget through cost-effective vendor relationships.
  • Oversee talent management strategies including succession planning and leadership development.
  • Manage PlayCore Learns programs such as new hire orientation and compliance training.
  • Lead dynamic learning sessions, including virtual and instructor-led training programs.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects with attention to detail.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Talent Development, Organizational Development, Education, Business Management or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in designing and delivering programs.
  • Certified Professional in Instructional Design and/or Learning and Performance (CPLP) or similar credential preferred.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including training facilitation and public speaking.
  • Excellent project management capabilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, web-based application frameworks, eLearning software, and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Ability to travel regularly, up to 25% of the time.
