About The Position

Our Learning & Development team seeks a forward-thinking and enthusiastic senior or recent graduate to join our full-time paid internship program. This internship offers hands-on experience in instructional design, strategy, and communications, while contributing to impactful learning initiatives across the organization.
This internship will sit in APCO's Washington, DC office.

Requirements

• Recent college graduate or senior in class standing
• Major in human resource management, business or learning technology preferred
• Excellent communication/customer service skills
• Collaborative team player who also can work independently and be a self-starter, take initiative, and set priorities
• Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information at all times
• Strong attention to organizational and grammatical detail
• Experience with Microsoft products preferred, specifically Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Teams
• Experience working with the Adobe Creative Suite preferred
• Available to work 40 hours per week
• Requires US Work Authorization, unable to consider candidates with CPT/OPT/Post-OPT status

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the Learning and Development team in various functions including, but not limited to, global Client Business Management learning programs, research, and data analytics
• Support in planning and managing the calendar for all global learning programs
• Partner with the Learning and Development Coordinator to manage APCO’s global learning management system
• Provide support in the development of APCO’s Learning and Development internal communications
• Perform administrative tasks, including data entry, digital filing, contracts/POs, and invoices
• Participate in general research and analysis on special Learning Development projects, gaining hands-on experience in many aspects of Learning and Development
