About The Position

The Learning & Development Training Facilitator is responsible for the effective delivery of training programs to deposit-related staff across the organization. In close partnership with the Learning & Development team, this role facilitates training using pre-developed, and co-developed content, while providing feedback to enhance clarity, usability, and overall learner experience. The specialist ensures a consistent, high-quality training environment that aligns with and reinforces the bank’s brand, culture, vision, mission, values, and established frameworks.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional training facilitation experience, preferably within a banking, financial services, customer service, or operations environment.
  • High School Diploma required, Bachelor’s preferred
  • Strong verbal communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Strong time management and classroom facilitation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex information into clear, understandable instruction.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and virtual delivery platforms such as Microsoft Teams or Zoom.
  • Familiarity with adult learning principles and best practices in instructional delivery.
  • Ability to engage diverse learner audiences and adapt delivery style to meet varying needs.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Ability to consistently model and reinforce the bank’s culture, vision, mission, values, and service frameworks.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Instructional Design preferred but not required.
  • Prior experience in banking or deposit operations is preferred but not required; a strong aptitude for learning financial operations concepts is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate instructor-led and virtual training sessions on deposit products, services, systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Facilitate engaging, learner-centered training sessions that clearly communicate concepts and build practical skills.
  • Maintain course content, manuals, and training materials to ensure accuracy and relevance
  • Partner with Deposit Operations, subject matter experts, and the Learning & Design team to review, refine, and enhance training materials for clarity, instructional flow, and accessibility.
  • Design and develop engaging training content, including facilitator guides, participant materials, job aids, and visual assets, to support effective learning experiences.
  • Deliver training that reflects and reinforces the bank’s brand, culture, mission, values, and operational frameworks.
  • Conduct interactive exercises, including system demonstrations, mock transactions, and real-time troubleshooting, to reinforce learning objectives.
  • Promote operational consistency, risk mitigation, client experience standards, and adherence to the bank’s service and operational principles.
  • Track training participation and completion; report attendance and learning outcomes to management.
  • Provide feedback to training developers on learner engagement, knowledge retention, and recommended content improvements.
  • Support onboarding of new deposit employees and deliver ongoing refresher training as needed.
  • Ensure all sessions maintain a professional tone and contribute to a cohesive team member and client experience.
  • Stay current on updates to deposit policies, procedures, and service frameworks to maintain training relevance.
  • Attend scheduled sessions and perform all essential functions of the role.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
