About the position

The Provider Education team develops and delivers training and education to ensure an informed and engaged provider network willing and capable of delivering a consistent high quality member experience. The Learning Developer, Consultant is a senior Instructional Design position reporting to the Senior Program Manager, Provider Education. In this role, you will partner with business and functional subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop and launch training for Blue Shield of California’s (BSC) contracted providers using a variety of delivery methods including eLearning, video, downloadable job aids, and live webinars.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver training and education for provider network.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to create training content.
• Utilize various delivery methods such as eLearning, video, and live webinars.
• Ensure training materials are high quality and consistent.
• Launch training programs for contracted providers.

Requirements

• Proven experience in instructional design.
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles.
• Experience with eLearning development tools.
• Ability to work collaboratively with SMEs.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the healthcare industry.
• Familiarity with Blue Shield of California's provider network.
• Knowledge of video production and editing.
• Experience with live webinar facilitation.
