About The Position

The Learning Design Specialist will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing engaging and effective learning experiences. This includes instructor-led training, e-learning, and virtual training programs. The role requires collaboration with subject matter experts to determine instructional design needs and develop course content and assessments. The specialist will also create and maintain project timelines, ensuring that project deliverables are completed on time and within budget. Additionally, the specialist will ensure that instructional materials comply with company standards and best practices, while continuously evaluating and improving the learning experience to increase student engagement and achievement.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Instructional Design or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in instructional design and e-learning development
  • Experience designing and developing virtual and hybrid learning experiences
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, and Camtasia
  • Experience with video editing and production
  • Familiarity with SCORM and Tin Can API standards
  • Excellent project management skills and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field
