This role will focus on addressing the learning and development needs of operational staff within the region or functional area. The ideal candidate will showcase expertise in full-cycle instructional design to create impactful curriculum aimed at delivering top-tier service training. Additionally, the role involves implementing learning and development strategies and executing tactics to ensure long-term success.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience in the commercial (property/casualty) insurance industry as an Account Supervisor, Account Executive, or Account Manager
• Skilled in developing and adhering to individual work plans
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced skills in MS Office application with expertise in PowerPoint, Visio, and Project
• Experience with Epic (agency management system)
• Willingness to travel up to 25%, primarily within the South-Central region
• Occasional travel to Gallagher headquarters in Rolling Meadows, IL

Responsibilities

• Assess and review learning materials included in role-based curriculums
• Create tailored learning resources to meet business needs, including classroom-based learning materials, PowerPoint presentations, discussion guides, facilitator guides, web-based training modules, job aids and performance support tools, assessments and certification programs
• Facilitate training sessions both in-person and remotely
• Work closely with HR, business management, and functional teams
• Vet and align milestone training deliverables
• Collaborate on the development and review of training materials
• Implement and roll out new training courses and materials
• Play a key role in shaping functional strategy
