Learning Center Tutors (Part-time)
About The Position
Opening for 2026-2027 Academic Year St. Joseph's Academy is an all-girls Catholic high school in Baton Rouge, LA. Our mission is to educate young women as responsible and unifying members of the world community. In the spirit and charism of the Sisters of St. Joseph, St. Joseph's Academy offers opportunities for faith development in the Catholic tradition, academic excellence and personal growth. St. Joseph's Academy seeks dynamic part-time tutors for high school students in the following subject areas: Math, Science, and English. Tutoring takes place during lunch periods and after school in our Learning Center. Tutors will work with the appropriate academic departments to coordinate content-specific review sessions and provide targeted academic support to students when needed.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of secondary-level courses in the subject area you are applying for (math or science)
- Ability to clearly explain concepts and work effectively with high school students
- Must be 21 years of age or older
