About The Position
The Learning and Wellbeing Advisor coordinates and delivers responsive services, programs and initiatives supporting learning and wellbeing, child protection and engagement for a diverse range of students, including Aboriginal students, students with disability and/or additional learning and support needs, including behaviour and those at risk of disengaging. As part of the application process, you will be asked to select your preference/s from the following education office location options for this current recruitment: Macquarie Park, Murwillumbah, Newcastle, Nirimba, Warilla. A current and valid driver’s licence is required. Travel will be required. For further information about this position, including the statement of duties, please review the position description. Please be advised: The department may direct you to undertake classroom teaching and lesson preparation as required. For current NSW public school based employees or employees who hold right of return to a NSW public school, please confirm in the pre-screening questions that you have discussed this opportunity with your direct supervisor/principal and that they are willing to release you for the required period.
Requirements
- A current and valid driver’s licence is required
- Provide a Working with Children Check (WWCC) Clearance number
- Complete a National Criminal Record Check
