About The Position

Reporting to the Head of Talent Enablement, the individual in this role will take the lead in designing, delivering, and evaluating learning and performance improvement solutions that help close organization-wide performance gaps. You'll use proven instructional design methods and adult learning theories to create solutions across multiple formats—ensuring measurable, positive change. To achieve these outcomes, you will collaborate with business partners, subject matter experts, and colleagues to understand needs, explore options, and define objectives. You will scope projects, develop materials, and test solutions for effectiveness. You will also help shape design standards, team guidelines, and support Talent Management & Development and HR departmental initiatives. Your work will empower our teams to grow and perform at their best, supporting Zurich's commitment to a brighter future—together.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree and 8 or more years of experience in the Organizational Development area OR High School Diploma or Equivalent and 10 or more years of experience in the Organizational Development area.
  • 8 or more years of experience consulting with business partners or clients, or in project management.
  • Experience in learning and development/education, performance consulting or human performance.
  • Experience in coaching human resources and business leaders on learning and development initiatives.
  • Experience implementing an e-Learning strategy and systems.
  • Experience in instructional design including web-based learning.
  • Experience with e-Learning systems.
  • Experience with vendor management.

  • Strong project management skills.
  • Strong consulting, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Advanced experience in learning design/development/delivery/evaluation.
  • Experience using learning design software such as Articulate and VYOND.

Responsibilities

  • Design and Deliver Learning Solutions: Create, implement, and continuously improve learning and performance programs using best-practice instructional design and adult learning principles, with a focus on measurable impact.
  • Drive Skills Strategy Execution: Partner with stakeholders to execute on ZNA's skills strategy—identifying current and future skill needs, building targeted development initiatives, and supporting a culture of continuous learning.
  • Collaborate for Success: Work closely with business leaders, Subject Matter Experts, and Talent Development colleagues to assess needs, co-create solutions, and ensure alignment with organizational priorities.
  • Evaluate and Improve: Assess the effectiveness of learning solutions through data and feedback, making recommendations and adjustments to maximize value and support ongoing capability development.
  • Establish Standards and Best Practices: Contribute to the creation and evolution of design and development standards, team guidelines, and departmental initiatives to drive consistency, innovation, and quality.
  • Champion Change and Growth: Act as a positive ambassador for learning and skills development—helping teams adapt, grow, and prepare for the future.
