At Peloton, the Learning and Development team empowers individuals to thrive. We create learning experiences that foster growth, longevity, and professional joy, enabling everyone to perform their best. We are seeking a Learning and Development Manager to enhance our existing onboarding programs and develop our core curriculum for our team members. This role involves shaping the new hire experience by collaborating with stakeholders, managing program logistics, and analyzing feedback for future improvements. Reporting to the Director of Learning and Development, this role will also support other learning experience design across the team member lifecycle. If you are a strategic and thoughtful individual with extensive experience in building and improving in-person and digital learning and onboarding programs, we encourage you to apply!

  • Design and deliver a standardized company-wide onboarding program that educates new hires on Peloton's goals, culture, business operations, and what to expect in their first 100 days and beyond.
  • Design, develop, and deliver engaging learning programs across the employee lifecycle, covering core professional skills (e.g., emotional intelligence, active listening, influencing, project management, AI enablement, presentation skills, etc).
  • Collaborate with the Director of Learning & Development, People team, and cross-functional stakeholders to continuously improve the onboarding strategy and core learning experience.
  • Manage the end-to-end first year experience, ensuring detailed project plans cover all necessary communications, logistics, delivery, and measurement.
  • Facilitate our 'Warmup' (day one) and 'Century Club' (100-day) onboarding experiences, ensuring team members feel energized, engaged, and connected.
  • Identify and seize opportunities to automate, optimize, and iterate upon onboarding processes and communications, including welcome messages, onboarding prep, cohort communications, and Hiring Manager communications.
  • Measure and track new team member and people leader engagement with onboarding tasks, such as creating Century Challenge onboarding plans, attending core learning experiences, and completing compliance training.
  • Regularly audit and review onboarding and core learning resources (presentation decks, documents, intranet pages) to support program improvements.
  • Gather and analyze insights from feedback surveys, focus groups, and other sources to recommend process, content, and delivery revisions.
  • Support the business by consulting with functional leaders on how to design domain-specific onboarding processes.
  • Establish and manage a pool of facilitators for onboarding and core learning experiences in various locations.
  • Stay updated on onboarding trends and support the broader learning team with other activities.
  • 4+ years of experience in a corporate learning environment, preferably in high-growth settings with diverse hourly, salaried, and global workforces.
  • Expertise in designing impactful onboarding strategies and creating engaging learning experiences.
  • Proven facilitation skills in both virtual and in-person settings, for all levels of management and individual contributors, including dynamic orientations, engaging training sessions, and impactful team onboarding activities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels, including creating clear, concise, and compelling content.
  • A marketer's mindset with the ability to effectively promote programs amidst competing priorities.
  • Proven ability to create compelling emails, newsletters, communications, and presentations.
  • Experience leveraging LMS platforms and applying visual and audio design tools (e.g., Articulate, Google Slides) to build engaging learning experiences.
