The Intern will support logistics and content development for learning and talent development events and programs. We are looking for a detail-oriented independent problem solver looking to advance their career in a learning-focused organization. Team Overview: The Learning and Development Intern will join a high-performing team of four (4) including the Talent Development Director, Senior Specialist, Specialist, and Coordinator. The Learning and Development Intern will work closely with Talent Development and HR team members. Location: Waltham, MA. The position will work hybrid in our Corporate Headquarters.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Instructional Design, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in instructional design, training development, or talent management.
  • Familiarity with eLearning authoring tools, particularly Articulate Storyline, is required.
  • Experience with content creation, graphic design, or multimedia.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, with attention to detail.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a strong interest in developing innovative learning solutions.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Talent Development team on logistical, administrative, and technical support for learning initiatives and programs.
  • Work on various technologies, including administration of the Cornerstone Learning Management System (LMS), Storyline e-learning authoring software, survey tools, and other tools as needed.
  • Assist with graphic design, video editing, and the creation of interactive e-learning modules to enhance the visual appeal and effectiveness of training materials.
  • Continually work to find process improvements to maximize the learning and development team’s efficiency.
  • Provide logistical support to learning and development initiatives, including material development, communications, and scheduling.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and cross-functional team members to create material and assist during training sessions.
  • Manage vendor operations such as requests for information, scheduling of workshops, program communication, and participant coordination.
