As an ADM Learning & Development Summer Intern , you will be a part of the ADM Global Learning and Development Team. You will handle a variety of projects to help support the education and training of colleagues across the globe. You will assist with executing people initiatives, providing internal customer support, and driving training excellence.

Requirements

  • Able to complete an internship in the summer
  • This role does not include relocation or housing assistance; candidates should have the ability to reside in the Chicago area for the duration of the internship
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree with a major OR minor in Human Resources, Learning & Development, Instructional Design, UX or related field with an anticipated graduation between December 2024 and Summer 2026
  • Overall 2.8 GPA
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships at all levels while maintaining confidentiality
  • Ability to complete all tasks individually in a timely manner, creatively solving problems when necessary
  • Ability to Navigate ambiguity
  • Curiosity about learning technologies and trends
  • Flexibility to adapt style/approach based on situational dynamic
  • Ability to handle data with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced work atmosphere and to multitask while being highly attentive to detail
  • Ability to demonstrate a calm, courteous and professional demeanor under pressure when working with a variety of situations and/or people
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Strong team orientation, judgement, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

  • Learning Site & SharePoint Development: Learn SharePoint online fundamentals to support the development, maintenance, and organization of SharePoint learning sites, including content updates, navigation, permissions, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Learning Portfolio Management: Assist in maintaining and tracking the learning portfolio by organizing assets, managing documentation, and supporting reporting and version control.
  • Project Management Support: Provide project coordination support by tracking tasks, timelines, meetings, and communications to help ensure learning projects are delivered on time.
  • Instructional Design Support: Assist with the design and review of learning materials by supporting content analysis, learning objectives, storyboards, and learner-focused improvements.
  • Articulate & eLearning Development: Support the development, testing, and updating of eLearning modules using Articulate tools, including formatting, revisions, quality assurance, and publishing.
