About The Position

The Training & Development department is looking for an articulate, organized, and curious student to join their team! As a Learning & Development intern, you’ll gain valuable experience in planning and supporting company-wide training initiatives, communicating with senior leadership, and analyzing and reporting program impact. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to enhance your communication, organization, and analytical skills while contributing to company culture. Interns at Flexco can expect to… Participate in 10-12 weeks of our immersive internship program, Experience the Flow of Flexco – weekly meetings with various departments across the business to understand the importance of their role and function within the organization, Join bi-weekly coffee chats with members of our Senior Leadership Team, hearing about their educational paths, career journeys, and gaining advice and wisdom, Take part in monthly workshops on resume writing, LinkedIn networking, interview do’s and don’ts, presentation skills, and Yellow Belt training, And showcase what you’ve learned with a capstone presentation at the end of the summer – highlight a large project/multiple projects you’ve worked on and share your experiences with Flexco’s values.

Requirements

  • Full-time, on-site availability (40 hours/week)
  • Currently enrolled in college/university with Fall 2026 registration confirmed
  • Must be a rising junior or higher
  • Attention to detail is a must
  • Excellent computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Strong familiarity and confidence in using online software systems
  • Proven ability to work independently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using Pivot tables in Excel preferred
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems preferred
  • Familiarity with video/video editing software desired

Responsibilities

  • Learning & Development Program Support – Assist with planning, coordinating, updating, and the delivery of Learning & Development programs, such as Inclusion & Belonging, Accountability, Decision Making, HR compliance programs, and/or other skills-based programs. Collaborate with the Training team to evaluate employee skill growth and program effectiveness to identify areas for improvement.
  • Program Communications – Strengthen your professional communication skills by crafting clear, concise, and engaging information with key stakeholders and global employees regarding program changes, requirements, and updates. Utilize a multitude of platforms, such as email and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Tracking and Reporting – Monitor and record employee engagement and learning impact of the L&D programs via Excel and Flexco’s online Learning Management System. Compile and present findings from reports to the Training manager and discuss solutions for program enhancements.
  • Instruction and Procedure Development – Update existing procedures, instructions, and forms while taking initiative to create new materials that support current and future Training team members and employees.
  • Virtual Training Assistance – Support employees and Training team members by attending virtual training sessions related to L&D programs.
