About The Position

The Learning & Development Intern will support the design, development, and delivery of instructional content and learning programs to enhance employee development and training effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Enrolled at an accredited college or university majoring in an undergraduate or graduate Human Resources Development, Instructional Design, Industrial/Organization Psychology or IT-related discipline degree program
  • Must have an overall grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale at all times throughout your time at Olin
  • Must have completed sophomore year prior to first rotation with Olin
  • Ability to work part-time (20 hours a week) during normal business hours if working while taking classes; relocating students are expected to work 40 hours a week
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without the requirement of a work/student visa
  • A Valid US Driver's license is required

Nice To Haves

  • Preference given to students located within 50 miles of the assigned Olin location
  • Preference will be given to candidates with availability and desire to work continuously through the year

Responsibilities

  • Assist in creating instructional materials, adapting content for learners, and designing resources
  • Support the development of training roadmaps, research, and help evaluate learning effectiveness
  • Provide administrative support for the LMS platform and contribute to both routine and strategic learning and development initiatives
