About The Position

The Learn To Play Coach position at the Buffalo Sabres involves coaching elementary school students in a hockey program designed to introduce them to the sport. Requirements

• 3+ years of coaching experience
• Hockey-related knowledge
• Ability to instruct and demonstrate drills to participants
• Ability to communicate with teachers and students
• Working knowledge of hockey programs
• Adhere to local and state COVID-19 guidelines

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down drills and games
• Instruct students in small groups and various stations
• Answer any questions teachers and students may have about the game and giveaways
• Communicate effectively with teachers and students
