The Second-in-Command (SIC) supports the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) in the safe and efficient operation of Learjet aircraft for company flights. This role ensures adherence to all FAA regulations, company policies, and industry best practices while providing exceptional service to passengers. Requirements

FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with Airplane Multi‑Engine Land (AMEL).
FAA First or Second Class Medical Certificate.
Minimum Total Flight Time: [insert hours—commonly 500–1,000]

Nice To Haves

Experience in business or charter aviation.

Responsibilities

Assist the PIC with all phases of flight planning and execution.
Operate the aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations, aircraft limitations, and company procedures.
Perform pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight duties, including inspections, checklist completion, and documentation.
Monitor aircraft systems, weather, air traffic, and surroundings to support safe decision‑making.
Maintain strong communication with PIC, crew members, dispatch, and ground personnel.
Strictly adhere to FAA Part [91/135—select one] regulations.
Assist with maintaining aircraft readiness, including identifying and reporting maintenance needs.
Ensure compliance with company safety management systems (SMS).
Participate in required recurrent training, proficiency checks, and safety briefings.
Provide professional, courteous service to passengers and clients.
