About The Position

Our Lean Solutions team plays a key role in driving process improvements, problem solving, and supporting operational efficiency across all buildings. If you enjoy identifying waste, improving workflows, helping teams work smarter—not harder—and being part of a collaborative environment, this role is for you. The Lean Solutions Associate will support continuous improvement initiatives across multiple departments. This role will work closely with operators, supervisors, and leadership to streamline processes, improve productivity, and support day-to-day Lean activities. This is a hands-on position that requires strong communication skills, the ability to work across teams, and a passion for learning and problem solving.

Requirements

  • Strong interest in Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or process optimization
  • Excellent communication skills and willingness to learn
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow through on tasks
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Comfortable working on the production floor
  • Basic computer knowledge (Excel, data entry, printing charts, etc.)
  • Basic math skills and understanding of measurements.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines for machine operation.
  • Ability to walk between buildings as needed
  • Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

  • Assist with Lean improvement projects throughout all buildings
  • Gather, track, and analyze production data
  • Support daily problem-solving activities with team leads and supervisors
  • Create and update standard work instructions and visual aids
  • Participate in Kaizen events and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Identify waste and recommend process improvements
  • Maintain organization, labeling, and workflow improvements
  • Help implement new tools, systems, or layouts as needed
  • Provide floor support to ensure consistent and efficient workflows
  • Partner with the Lean Solutions Manager on department needs
