Position Summary In your role as a Technical Training Solutions Lean Six Sigma Statistician, you'll be responsible for instructing statistics and Lean Methodology courses, evaluating site needs and developing courses (material content) to remedy knowledge gaps in technical training, consulting technical population on statistical application, and facilitating problem-solving events or supporting continuous improvement projects as needed. You'll work to generate instruction schedules, request advertisement in learning management system and document learner attendance and exam performance (if applicable).

Requirements

  • BS or MS in engineering field.
  • Specialization in or completion of higher learning quantitative coursework (i.e. Applied Mathematics/Statistics).
  • 10 yrs semiconductor industry or high tech experience.
  • Adept statistical software skills (i.e. JMP, Minitab, etc.).
  • Ability to analyze data and make decisions based on it.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Instructional Design.
  • Predictive analytics (signal processing).
  • Professional, agile, and collaborative manner with the ability to express ideas clearly and diplomatically.

Nice To Haves

  • PMP or formal project management certification preferred.
  • Lean Six Sigma Cert preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Instructing 80 -100 training modules a year.
  • Developing/creating new technical instructor led or computer based training modules.
  • Monitoring technical training indices and generating reports as needed.
  • Ascertaining technical population training needs and curating programs/curricula accordingly.
  • Mentoring site personnel on Continuous Improvement methodologies and offering statistical assists.
  • Helping ensure SAS technical training procedures are current and continuously evolving.
  • Providing site certification and/or customer audit representation as needed.
  • Monitoring instructor feedback and making delivery/content changes as warranted.
  • Keeping abreast of industry trends regarding improvement initiative management and application of statistics.
