As a Lean Six Sigma Project and Change Manager, you spend your day driving cross‑functional improvement and leading organizational change directly within the region where operations take place. You review project performance indicators, risks, and milestones to determine where to focus your attention and ensure each initiative aligns with strategic goals and measurable outcomes. This is a hybrid role and reports into the Manager of Operational Excellence. Because you work in the region, much of your day involves partnering directly with frontline teams and leaders. You observe real processes—such as scheduling workflows, safety and compliance routines, equipment access, and work‑order efficiency—to understand the true challenges people face. This hands‑on visibility allows you to facilitate effective Kaizen events, value‑stream mapping sessions, and root‑cause analyses that are grounded in how the region actually operates. Your proximity enables you to quickly troubleshoot issues, build trust with local leadership, and ensure improvements are practical, adopted, and sustained. A large part of your role centers on organizational change management, especially during major initiatives like the Delivery model redesign, IFS Cloud implementation, and Salesforce deployment. You conduct change‑impact assessments, prepare stakeholder and communication plans, deliver role‑based training, and support teams through cutover and hypercare. Being physically present allows you to tailor readiness activities, coach teams effectively, and help the region achieve high adoption rates—targeting at least 85%—while minimizing disruption. Your responsibilities also extend to material efficiency and operational controls. You spend time in warehouses and staging areas to standardize excess‑material processes, improve staging and kitting practices, and implement damage‑prevention methods. With regional visibility, you can detect early signs of process breakdowns, intervene quickly, and reinforce behaviors that reduce scrap, repurchasing, and shipment errors. Throughout the day, you maintain project dashboards and plans, validate financial impacts with Finance, and stay closely aligned with regional leadership. Your presence in the region is not just beneficial—it is essential. It enables faster response times, deeper understanding of local nuances, stronger engagement and adoption, and significantly better long‑term sustainment of improvements.
