About The Position

The Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Analyst position is a full-time hybrid role based in Arlington, VA, focused on providing technical support to a federal agency. The analyst will be responsible for analyzing and documenting processes, creating process diagrams, and ensuring the quality of project documentation. This role requires collaboration with a project team under the supervision of a project manager, emphasizing a commitment to process improvement and client satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification
  • 4 year college bachelor degree
  • Minimum of 3 years work experience
  • Experience using LSS techniques in government/non-manufacturing environments
  • Direct experience with process improvement and understanding business process goals, systems, data, and people requirements
  • Experience developing organizational documents including procedure documentation and job aids
  • Experience with developing process models/maps
  • Experience creating project documentation such as meeting notes, policies, procedures, and job aids
  • Excellent writing skills - Consistency, Clarity, Compliance, Completeness
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to commute to client site in the DC area

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Federal government contracting operations
  • Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Visio, Office Suite, Project
  • Project management experience/certification
  • Experience in interacting with client staff and leadership in the development of processes, frameworks, communications, training, and change management materials
  • Experience in process simulations and simulations analysis
  • Experience in robotic process automation (RPA) and/or machine learning
  • Master's Degree

  • Desire to improve client processes and associated documentation.
  • Act as project technical writer responsible for documentation including Policies, SOP's, OI's, Job Aids, and others.
  • Create new documents and revise existing ones.
  • Review and edit documents created by the team or client.
