About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Lean Practitioner to support the Boeing Supply Chain Team based out of Everett, Washington. Our team is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels, including Experienced and Senior Lean Practitioner. As a Lean Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in driving Lean initiatives across the organization, both factory and non-factory environment. You will be responsible for Lean initiatives and partnering with stakeholders to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall performance. This position requires a deep understanding of Lean principles and methodologies, as well as the ability to mentor and guide teams in their Lean journey.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or manufacturing environment
  • 5+ years of experience using LEAN Principles and/or Continuous Improvement practices and tools in the workplace
  • 5+ years of experience working in cross-functional teams
  • 5+ years of experience with coaching and facilitating training
  • Willing and able to work a variable shift (primarily 1st shift)
  • Willing and able to travel domestically, potential international travel

Nice To Haves

  • 10+ years of experience with coaching and facilitating training
  • 10+ years of experience teaching Lean tools and concepts
  • 5+ years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years of experience working with the Boeing Problem Solving Model
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification
  • Experience in Toyota Production System (TPS)/Boeing Production System (BPS)

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate Lean activities and initiatives across various departments
  • Conduct value stream mapping and process analysis to identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement Lean training programs for employees at all levels
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement efforts
  • Utilize data analysis and metrics to measure the effectiveness of Lean initiatives
  • Mentor and coach stakeholders in Lean principles and practices
  • Prepare and present reports on progress and outcomes to management
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in Lean methodologies
