We are looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join our Product Support and Logistics Division as a Lean Facilitator / EHS in Victoria, TX. Our Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD) is one of the most innovative divisions within Caterpillar. Job Summary: The Lean Facilitator / EHS supports, teaches, and leads projects using Lean, Six Sigma and project management methodologies to achieve business goals. Additional Info: This role is located in Victoria, TX and does not offer relocation This role is 1st shift This role is 100% on-site with no opportunity for hybrid or remote schedules This role requires up to 20% domestic travel

Requirements

  • Project Administration: Knowledge of project administration best practices and ability to use organizational strategies, practices and tools for administering projects.
  • Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
  • Process Improvement: Understanding and insight into evaluating current product quality and production methods and ability to maintains focus on the continuous improvement of processes, products and services.
  • Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.

Responsibilities

  • Leads Lean / Continuous Improvement initiatives programs while driving Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) to reduce risk, eliminate waste, improve processes, and strengthen a culture of safety, compliance, and operational excellence.
  • Assisting in employing Six Sigma methodology and analytics into organizational operations to meet business goals and objectives.
  • This role integrates regulatory compliance, risk management, and safety leadership with Lean, Six Sigma, and data‑driven improvement methods to support business performance and employee well‑being.
  • Supporting the design and development of Six Sigma program strategies and goals, including supporting systems and tools, for quality and business process improvements.
  • Providing assistance in the implementation of Sigma project portfolios to achieve measurable business process improvements.
  • Participating in planning, developing and implementing Six Sigma projects to meet specific quality and performance standards.
