Job Summary: We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Lean & Continuous Improvement Intern to join our team the Spring or Summer of 2026. The ideal candidate will be a sophomore (or higher) student with a strong understanding of engineering principles and processes. Key Skills and Qualities Desired: Technical skills including problem-solving abilities and communication skills Specific software proficiency (e.g., Excel) Power BI skills (a plus). Willingness to learn, create dashboards thereafter a requirment Familiarity with Time studies Knowledge of 5S principles Understanding of Lean concepts such as Kanban and SMED (a plus) Academic Disciplines Aligned with Internship Tasks: Any Engineering major, preferrably Industrial Engineering Primary Job Functions: Conducting Time studies Providing project support to the team Assisting with NPS (Net Promoter Score – Nemera production system) support activities Level of Mentorship or Supervision Provided: Opportunity for one-on-one mentorship sessions; mentorship will be provided by the entire team of skill enhancement Specific Projects or Initiatives Interns Could Contribute to: Contributing to the savings goal for the plant
