About The Position

Eaton's ES AMER ESS is currently seeking a Leak Test Welder - 2nd Shift to join our team on Badger Dr. in Waukesha, WI! The hourly rate for this position is $24.50 per hour + $2.50 per hour shift premium. The core hours are 3 pm - 11 pm. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times. This position is offering a sign-on bonus of $2,000* paid in two installments, less applicable withholding. * Bonus terms: * Bonuses are being offered for a limited time only. Requirements

• Must have completed High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 1 year of welding experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience.
• Associate's degree in welding from an accredited institution.
• Previous experience in weld inspection.

Responsibilities

• Preps tanks for leak testing.
• Ensures tanks are leak proof by pressure testing or by the use of Dye Penetrant.
• TIG repairs any weld leaks.
• Applies required studs.
• Ensures cleanliness of the inside of tanks.
• Removes tanks from line or leak tester and palletizes.
• Gives final quality check.
