The Company: Pacific Aerospace & Electronics (PacAero) is seeking a Leak Check Operator to join our team. PacAero is primarily located in Wenatchee, WA with a remote manufacturing site, Bonded Metals, located in Sequim, WA. Working together, we employ proprietary technologies, best practices engineering, and specialized manufacturing techniques to produce hermetic connectors and electronic packaging that perform in the world’s most extreme environments. PacAero’s products are hard at work in medical components, such as cardiac-function devices, on key aerospace & defense programs, in space and deep below the earth's surface. The Position: Job Summary Leak Check Operator Level I is responsible for performing hermetic inspections on products to verify conformance with internal quality standards and customer requirements. No previous experience is required as we provide on the job training for this unique career path. Employees in this position will manufacture highly engineered products principally for the Aerospace, Defense, and Medical markets. Schedule: Mon-Fri, 6am - 2:30pm

Education/Previous Experience Requirements
High School graduate or equivalent.
Contaminants : Works with hazardous chemicals.
Protective gear : Personal protective equipment (PPE) is a requirement for safety.
Shift work : Must be flexible to work any of the following shifts: Mon-Fri 6am-2:30pm and Mon-Fri 2:30pm-11pm.
Standing/Sitting: Able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time.
Manual dexterity: Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination are necessary for manipulating tools and performing precise measurements with a Microscope.
Precision and vision: Specific vision ability to have natural or corrected near distance acuity in at least one eye. Capable of passing the Jaeger Number 2 test and a color vision test.

Perform the following inspection tests for First Article, In Process and / or Final Inspection.
Hermeticity
Temperature Cycle / Thermal Shock
Initiate Nonconformance Reports as required.
Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by area Lead.
Review shipping paperwork for completeness and accuracy.
Follow daily clean up and housekeeping procedures.
Comply with all quality, safety, and work-related rules and regulations.
