Thanks for your commitment to Tyson Foods. Management Level: Class 2 Schedule - Monday - Friday with possible Saturday's Hours - 6:40 am - until finished Pay - 21.70/Hr. Job Description: Responsible for learning how to maintain sharp tools to perform their job task correctly. Responsible for making precision cuts to carcass that allows for correct further processing to achieve desired carcass yield. Responsible for making precision cuts to carcass to remove hide only to achieve desired carcass yield. Responsible for operating a powered tool to perform job task. Must also adhere to good safety practices, food safety policies, and company policies. Responsible for setting up area with all needed equipment. Monitor production area for trash and food debris on floor. Perform various other tasks as assigned by Lead person, Supervisor or Superintendent. Must be willing and able: May occasionally be required to lift/carry up to 50lbs. Must be willing and able to complete work cycles in less than 20 seconds. Able to work on and around machinery and chemicals. Must clean up area at end of production shift, including but not limited to sweeping, picking up debris from the floor, and spraying work areas. Able to perform the following task for periods up to 12 hours on concrete floor, some of which may include but is not limited to standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting. Able to work in temperatures less than or equal to 35 degrees Fahrenheit temperature for minimum of 8 hours. Able to work in a wet environment. Must be willing and able to complete cycles in less than 10 seconds. This position is slated for team members who are currently working at this facility or complex only.
