About The Position

The position involves coordinating, instructing, and overseeing the work of locksmiths and other trades employees. The primary responsibilities include repairing and maintaining door and window hardware, panic devices, safes, and related items with accuracy and responsibility.

Requirements

• Standard high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of four years of recent locksmith and related hardware experience.
• Must provide own hand tools.
• Experience in lock and window hardware.
• Demonstrated knowledge of all types of locks and locking devices.
• Ability to read and understand schematic and technical publications.
• Ability to set locking mechanisms according to manufacturers' instructions.
• Valid Florida Driver's License.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Computer skills as required for the position.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee the work of assigned locksmiths and trades employees.
• Repair and maintain door and window hardware, panic devices, and various types of safes.
• Ensure work is performed accurately and responsibly.

Benefits

• Hourly rate of $27.49 - $33.34 per hour with a $0.35 shift differential.
