About The Position

We are currently building a pipeline of mission-aligned leaders for future opportunities across our network, specifically for Assistant Principals, Directors of Operations, and other school-based leadership roles for the 2026–27 school year. While we do not have confirmed openings at this time, we are eager to engage with candidates who are passionate about supporting student and staff success to ensure our schools operate at a high level. These roles are typically 12-month positions and are supervised by members of the school or network leadership team.

Requirements

  • B.A./B.S. degree from accredited institution;
  • 1-2 years of classroom experience, preferably in urban education;
  • Valid and active Pennsylvania Instructional Certificate;
  • All employees must be able to provide Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Background Check Clearance (Act 34), Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance (Act 151), Federal Bureau of Investigation Record Check Clearance (Act 114), and Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Clearance (Act 168) before starting work on campus
  • Demonstrate preparation and skill in working with students from diverse cultural, economic and ability backgrounds.
  • Encourage parent and community involvement, obtain information for parents when requested, promptly return phone calls and answer emails.
  • Participate in appropriate professional activities.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities such as social activities, sporting activities, clubs and student organizations as directed.
  • Ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds and a variety of individualized needs

Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation and execution of strong instructional and/or operational systems aligned to school and network goals.
  • Drive day-to-day school operations and/or instructional priorities to ensure a safe, structured, and high-functioning learning environment.
  • Partner with school leadership to plan, organize, and execute key initiatives and priorities.
  • Use data to monitor progress, identify gaps, and inform decision-making.
  • Coach, support, and develop staff to ensure high performance and alignment to expectations.
  • Ensure compliance with school, network, and state policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, students, families, and stakeholders.
  • Lead or support school-wide systems including culture, operations, scheduling, and/or instruction.
  • Manage multiple priorities and projects while maintaining strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Participate in school-based meetings, professional development, and leadership planning sessions.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervision
