About The Position

The Leadership Development Program at Ryder is designed for individuals seeking to advance their careers in supply chain management. This rotational program offers participants the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various roles within Ryder's Automotive, Aerospace, and Industrial verticals. Over the course of the program, participants will develop essential leadership skills while working closely with site leadership and executive mentors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required in Business, Logistics, Transportation, or a related field.
• 0 to 1 year of experience in leadership roles through extracurricular activities or internships.
• Effective leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships at all organizational levels.
• Flexibility to operate in a fast-paced environment and self-driven to excel.

Nice To Haves

• Previous internship experience in logistics or supply chain management.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate, and oversee day-to-day Supply Chain operations including Warehousing, Logistics Optimization Centers, Dedicated Transportation, and Engineering.
• Plan and review logistics processes in collaboration with the site leadership team to meet company standards and customer service specifications.
• Participate in project-based activities such as continuous improvement events and shadowing analytics teams.
• Communicate Key Performance Indicators (KPI) by tracking and adjusting for continuous improvement.
• Travel as required to assist locations and present to stakeholders regarding process changes and feedback.
• Meet regularly with site leadership, mentors, and program advocates for development sessions.
