Our Leadership Development Program (LDP) is a one-year, rotational experience designed to prepare the next generation of leaders at Clemens Food Group. Through hands-on learning, cross-functional projects, and cohort-based development sessions, you will gain the skills, confidence, and business understanding to step into a permanent role upon completion. About Supply Chain at Clemens: At Clemens Food Group, our Supply Chain team keeps our business and our customers moving. They serve as the critical link between our farms, production facilities, and the families who depend on us. From planning and purchasing to scheduling, warehousing, and transportation, the team ensures that fresh, safe, high-quality pork products reach the right place at the right time. In the Supply Chain Leadership Development Program, you will gain hands-on experience across these functions, learning how to solve complex challenges, forecast demand, optimize inventory, reduce waste, and deliver meaningful impact every day. What Makes This Program Different: Customizable Rotations: While you will experience core areas of the supply chain, we adapt the schedule to your skills and interests to maximize learning. Collaborative and Cross-Functional: You will work alongside experts from operations, engineering, FSQA, sales, and more, meeting new people and expanding your network daily. Learning Beyond the Desk: Monthly cohort learning sessions, farm and feed mill tours, plant visits, and team engagement activities provide a well-rounded understanding of the business and our culture. Your Year in Supply Chain: You will rotate through multiple areas that give you a 360° view of our supply chain: Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) – Observe and participate in key planning meetings, contribute to executive report-outs, and gain insight into balancing supply with demand. Customer Experience and Service (CES) – Learn SAP processes, understand the full order-to-delivery flow, and provide top-tier customer service. Scheduling – Partner with schedulers to plan production, align resources, and keep operations running efficiently. Purchasing – Order raw materials and supplies, manage vendor relationships, and ensure consistent product availability. Warehouse Operations – Oversee inventory management, wave planning, and reporting to improve efficiency and accuracy. Forklift certification available. Transportation (PVT) – Work on routing, driver management, and logistics projects that improve delivery speed and reliability.
