About The Position

The Leadership Development Program (LDP) at GEICO is designed to cultivate future leaders in the First Party Medical division. This program aims to enhance participants' expertise in insurance while developing their leadership skills, preparing them for impactful careers within the company. Participants will receive industry-leading training, gain hands-on experience, and be mentored by successful GEICO managers and directors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
• Ability to work in-office in specified locations
• Must be able to speak in a professional manner by telephone
• Must be able to attain and maintain required licenses issued by insurance departments
• Ability to manage heavy call volume in a fast-paced work environment
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to follow complex instructions and prioritize tasks
• Must be able to multi-task and learn large amounts of technical information
• Ability to work varying schedules to meet staffing needs

Nice To Haves

• Prior leadership experience demonstrating data-driven decision making
• Experience managing in a call center environment
• Well-developed analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
• Effective time management and attention to detail
• Ability to be flexible and open to fulfilling staffing needs across departments

Responsibilities

• Attend paid, industry-leading training and earn your professional insurance license
• Gain hands-on experience and build credibility by learning and doing the job of a First Party Medical associate
• Be mentored by successful GEICO managers and directors
• Motivate, inspire, and develop a team using skills learned through the supervisor preparation curriculum, development seminars, and management forums
• Coach associates and demonstrate leadership skills
• Demonstrate the ability to achieve top results
