About The Position

The Food & Beverage Supervisor is a position within the clubs Leadership Development Program. Working alongside and under the direction of the management team, they assist in the execution of dining, function events, and club services. As a developing leader, they are eager to learn and grow in their role and are driven to succeed. While working with the service team directly, they ensure a high standard of care is delivered to our members and their guests efficiently and effectively. As a collaborator, they work closely with the Culinary, Operations, and Dining teams to deliver distinctive services to our membership with thoughtful and personalized touches. This position is member-facing and works diligently to meet and exceed their expectations. Compensation Range: $25-27.50/hr based on experience

Requirements

  • 2+ years of prior F&B hospitality or private club experience
  • Advanced knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menus, service standards, and best practices.
  • Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment, while maintaining established food and beverage standards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment, and perform the essential functions of the job
  • Ability to anticipate member and guest needs
  • Basic reading and writing skills
  • Ability to speak English conversationally
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, holidays as scheduled

Responsibilities

  • Supervise food and beverage staff during assigned services or functions
  • Oversee daily events and dining operations as assigned
  • Ensure smooth coordination between kitchen and front-of-house teams
  • Monitor food quality, presentation, and service standards in conjunction with the culinary and beverage teams
  • Greet members and their families by name and demonstrate advanced knowledge of preferences and allergies
  • Attend regular professional development meetings with supervisor or department heads
  • Assist with development of outlet, staff, or administrative policies and procedures under the direction of the management team
  • Lead event or service pre-shift meetings, as assigned
  • Train employees on service standards, beverage operations, and Club culture
  • Utilize event management software, Jonas Encore, for event planning and service point of sale
  • Oversight of daily sales entry in point-of-sale system and accurate reporting within outlet spaces
  • Maintain event and service logs, including post-function reports and billing notes
  • Advanced knowledge of all club wine, beer, cocktail and non-alcoholic beverage offerings
  • Advanced knowledge of our menu and being able to answer questions about ingredients or cooking techniques
  • Complete opening and close-out duties of assigned service area
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of all F&B areas
  • Provide outstanding guest service while maintaining impeccable attention to detail.
  • Additional duties/ projects as assigned by management
