About The Position

The Leadership Development Manager is is responsible for the overall strategy, development, and implementation of a suite of leadership programs and offerings in the AAMC leadership development portfolio, and leads the research, scoping and proposal process for new programs and offerings. This position collaborates with team members and other units to establish business development strategies, marketing and communication plans, and learning design and delivery solutions that differentiate the AAMC's leadership programs as the leading resource of leadership development for its members.

Requirements

  • Master's degree required
  • Master's degree in Education, Organizational Development, Industrial or Organizational Psychology, Leadership, Instructional Design, Behavioral Science, Communication or a related field is preferred. Years of related experience may substitute for Master's degree preference
  • 10 - 12 years of related work experience
  • 7+ years of supervisory experience
  • Minimum of 10 years of related experience in learning, program management and/or leadership development.
  • Experience with and an understanding of healthcare, academic medicine, and/or nonprofit organizations.
  • Extensive knowledge of leadership products and services. Experience interacting with executive level stakeholders.
  • A track record of being entrepreneurial and growth oriented.
  • Significant experience with program or product line management, developing proposals, and establishing business plans in the leadership development or learning/training space.
