About The Position

The Leadership Development Office (LDO) for MBA Programs at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business is dedicated to overseeing a comprehensive portfolio of both in-person and virtual developmental programs designed to enhance the leadership skills of MBA students. This includes the experiential LEAD class, which is a mandatory course for all MBA candidates during their first quarter. The LDO also offers a variety of workshops, corporate speaker events, and personalized leadership coaching tailored for Full-Time, Evening, Weekend, and Executive MBA students. Each Leadership Development Coach plays a pivotal role in the design and management of specific program offerings, ensuring that they align with the learning needs and aspirations of MBA students while adhering to the LDO's mission and success metrics. In this role, Coaches are responsible for not only the development and execution of programs but also for providing individual and team coaching, facilitating workshops, and delivering classroom instruction. They work closely with the LEAD class, which is taught by second-year MBA candidates known as Facilitators, whom the Coaches support through one-on-one coaching sessions and targeted instruction. The Coaches also engage in administrative tasks essential for the smooth operation of the office, collaborating with various departments across Booth to enhance the overall student experience. This position is integral to fostering an environment where students can grow as effective leaders, equipped to tackle the challenges of the business world.
