About The Position

Kids Club Leader I, works under the direction of Membership Director and is responsible for the direct supervision of children 8 weeks to 11 years old and cleanliness of child care center.

Requirements

• A minimum 6 months experience working with children
• CPR/FA certified within 30 days of hire
• Child Abuse Prevention certification within 30 days of hire

Nice To Haves

• Bi-lingual a plus
• 6 months of customer service experience

Responsibilities

• Must be fair, nurturing, and caring to all children
• Enforce safety policies and procedures according to the YMCA guidelines
• Responsible for impeccable customer service with parents at all times
• Responsible for having basic knowledge of all YMCA programs, activities and special events
• Responsible for maintaining a safe environment by constantly monitoring all children’s actions and activities
• Responsible for maintaining a high level of cleanliness in all Kids Club areas
• Responsible for knowing, implementing and enforcing all emergency procedures
• Involvement in the recruitment of volunteers for annual YMCA sustaining campaign
• Follows the YMCA personnel policies, practices, salary administration plan, emergency procedures and risk management procedures.
