Team members interested in transferring into this position from another Tyson facility should express interest through their local HR Partner. This position has a starting base rate of pay $25.10 per hour, and an additional $1.10 per hour shift differential for 2nd shift position placement. Role Overview: This position is responsible for assisting the Supervisor in coordination of the daily responsibilities of the department by ensuring the Supervisor's instructions are communicated to the team members and carried out timely and correctly. This position is for you if you are: Capable of maintaining an atmosphere of cooperation within the department through proper communication, discipline, evaluation, and good interpersonal relationship. Capable of learning each job within the department. Capable of organizing the work and meeting the requirements within the department. Able to maintain accurate records. Responsible for machine adjustments and minor repairs as needed. Responsible for close cooperation with maintenance on repairs and daily servicing of equipment. Responsible for employee training regarding equipment operations and safety. Other duties as assigned. In this position you: Must wear necessary safety equipment, etc. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to read explicit simple instructions and do required paperwork. Must be willing to work a 7-day rotating schedule. Physical Requirements: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. Must be willing and able to lift and carry 50 pounds or more. The Team Member will move from one area of production to another. The Team Member will regularly be required to stand, stoop and bend, climb ladders, change work levels, twist, squat, climb stairs, reach, push, pull and move about the facility. You will qualify for this position if you: Have no more than 4 attendance points. Have had no suspensions within past 12 months. Have no more than 2 written warnings in the last 12 months. Have no lateral, downward, or self-disqualification unless for higher classification for the past 6 months. New TM’s still in 30 days of probationary period are not eligible to bid. Probationary TM’s bidding after their first 30 days, must have no more than 2 points.
